Police have charged a man with producing drugs after what is thought to be a methamphetamine lab was discovered in Gladstone Central on Saturday.
A Central Lane unit was searched by Gladstone police about 9am and it will be alleged glassware and chemicals associated with the production of methamphetamine were found.
The unit was evacuated and police are conducting further investigations.
A 22-year-old man from Gladstone Central was charged with a variety of offences including producing dangerous drugs.
He is expected to appear in the Gladstone Magistrates Court on September 19.
